The changes to the law of human mobility were published in the Official Register 386 on February 5th, 2021. These changes affect short stays, temporary residency and permanent residency, including fines and authorized visit duration outside of the country.
These new laws are generally favorable to those who have, or are wishing to pursue, temporary or permanent residency. These laws allow more flexibility in one’s ability to stay for extended periods of time outside of the country without the concern of economic sanctions.
