MIGRATORY MOVEMENT

This is a document which details your traveling history in and out of Ecuador, showing the migratory condition you have and also that you have not exceeded the 90 day limit. This service includes assistance going to the Migratory office to obtain the migratory movement document as well as assistance in facilitating the payment of fees.

VISA SUPPORTING DOCS

Several documents may be required for you to be granted your temporary residency visa. These may include a Social security letter, bank certificate of deposits, a certificate of financial solvency, diploma, or other documents. This service includes assistance and guidance to obtain the paperwork that you will need to apply for the temporary visa.

FAQ´s

If I have purchased the basic plan, but have decided the premium package better suits my needs, may I upgrade?

Sure, if you want to switch to the Premium plan you can do so at any time in the permanent visa process.

If I purchased the basic plan, and would like some additional assistance, but don’t need the full services of the premium package, may I request help for specific tasks, not included in the basic plan?

Yes, if you paid for the basic plan and you do not want to upgrade to the premium plan, you can select and pay for any of the add-on services separately.

If I stayed out of the country in excess of the 90 days permitted, may I still apply for a permanent residency visa?

Yes, it may be possible. In case that you have exceeded the time allowed out of the country, we will analyze your paperwork and give you an alternative according to the details of your case.

If I run into legal obstacles during the residency visa application process, and I have not engaged the services of EcuaAssist, may I simply purchase the basic package and have my legal concerns addressed?

No, you would need to purchase the Premium package to have EcuaAssist review your case, so that we can engage in the process and resolve legal questions or concerns.

Does the payment of legal fees by EcuaAssist include the cost of the fees themselves?

The payment of government fees can be a timely process which requires you to go to the bank and submit the proper payments and obtain receipts for proof for other government that your fees have been submitted.  None of our plans include government taxes or expenses, which will be collected separately. Our service is to facilitate the payment to save you time and guarantee accuracy.

What if I do not have the health insurance which is required by Ecuador to apply for a visa.  Can you help me with this?

Yes, with the Premium service we will assist you to obtain a health insurance policy which is accepted by the governmental authorities in Ecuador.  You may also hire this service separately as an add-on service.

What does Ecuadorian education level registration mean?

Your level of education is recorded on your cedula. Once you have provided us with the proper paperwork, certifying your high school or university degree, we will make sure this information is properly recorded on your cedula.  Many, but not all major universities are recognized by Ecuador, which has a list of accredited schools of which we an provide a list.  If this process is not completed, your cedula will indicate that you do not have a formal education which can be problematic down the road including when applying for a drivers license.
