This visa is applicable to those who receive a government pension, as long as it is for the applicant's lifetime.

For the year 2024, the minimum income a person must have is $1,380.00 USD.

Dependents such as spouses and children can obtain a visa under the sponsorship of the person holding a Pensioner visa.

The principal applicant must have an additional income of $250.00 USD per dependent.

You must provide documents that establish the filiation or marital or common law, as applicable, between the beneficiary of the protection and the holder of the temporary residence visa.

Additionally, the principal applicant must demonstrate the required income for their visa type, plus an additional $250.00 USD PER EACH DEPENDENT (adult children or spouse) for the month prior to the dependent's visa application. The downside of this visa is that the principal applicant must first obtain their visa before the dependent can apply for a visa.
