Pilar Egüez Guevara, Researcher, manager, and educator with over 10 years of experience in student mentoring and retention, social science research, international fieldwork, international education, and community development. has lived and worked in Ecuador, Cuba, Argentina, and the United States in education, non-profits, and government. Founder and director of "Comidas que curan" [Food that heals], an independent educational initiative to raise awareness about food and health through ethnography, film and experiential learning programs.
Juan Delgado, Expat living in Ecuador since 2014, farming low altitude Arabic coffee in 25 hectares. according to the Ministry of Agriculture of Ecuador this type of coffee, it is farmed, only in 2 parts of the world, one is in Yemen and the second in las Piñas, Manabí [San Lorenzo]
