DURING COVID 19
05.25.2020 - 2PM [Ecuador Time]
During these difficult times, information is always the best option, the purpose of this webinar is to help the Expat Community living in Ecuador to stay updated with the latest government resolutions taken for the Ecuadorian Committee of Emergency to deal with the Worldwide crisis.
We will have specials guests on each of our sessions, local authorities and decision-makers will be invited to speak and answer the questions of the attendees. After each Webinar, we will prepare exclusive special presentations for the registered attendees and will be sending a summary of the questions via email to them as well.
Ecuadorian Minister of Production and Foreign Trade, Iván Ontaneda, days ago made a statement about the very soon to be approved regulations, related to the medicinal usage and production of Cannabis in Ecuador. Minister Ontaneda said "Medicinal and Industrial Cannabis Business is a great opportunity for the country, will create thousands of jobs and dollars", as a reaction from the government due to the situation of the Ecuadorian economy and measures to be taken post COVID19.
For this event Minister Ontaneda, personally appointed Sub-secretary of Agro-Industry, Diego Borja, and minister Ontaneda`s advisor, Jeffrey Leblanc, to address to the Expat Community Living in Ecuador in a TOWN HALL MEETING about Cannabis regulations and the official position of the Ministry of Production and Foreign Trade of Ecuador.
This is a Free Registration event, organized by EcuaAssist.
What our attendees are saying about our events:
"The webinars are a worthwhile service and I think that they provide some credibility to your organization."
Thank you for the interesting presentation. I saw it advertised on Cuenca HighLife and I know Ashley - so it was great to hear her voice and see her - and I found the first-hand accounts of what's happening in Manta and in other parts of the country quite interesting. We're all in the same boat, but having real estate representatives on who are fully invested personally in Ecuador was encouraging.
"I have found these roundtable discussions on current Ecuadoran affairs to be very useful. I would recommend anyone doing business in-country, or living here and just wanting to stay informed about what happening, tune in. It’s well worth your time."

Thank you for presenting a very knowledgeable panel of experts in the field of real estate.
Today’s webinar was excellent. Positivity is what we need, and we like hearing especially young people talk about their businesses and the potential need to re-tool if necessary to stay in business. We sort of think this is the way you stay in business, no matter what your industry is.
We look forward to attending future presentations, thanks for your hard work in producing these.
